KADAI / QUAIL PEPPER GRAVY

Quail pepper gravy / kadai pepper gravy 

Ingredients:

Quail - 250 gm
Oil - 2 Tbsp
Onion - 1 (Big- cut into slices)
Green chilly - 2 
Ginger-garlic paste - 1 Tbsp
Garam masala - 1 tbsp 
Coriander powder - 1 Tbsp
Chilly powder - 1/2 Tbsp
Black pepper powder - 2 Tbsp
Salt - to taste
Turmeric powder - 1 Tbsp
Curry leaf 

Method : 

First wash the Quail well.
Marinate the quail chicken pieces with a good quantity of turmeric powder. Keep the marinade in the fridge for 20-30 mins


Fry Onions to golden brown. Add the  ginger-garlic paste , Garam masala powder and fry until the raw smell goes.



Now, add the quail to the masala and cook. Add in turmeric powder , coriander powder and chilly powder ( I added pepper chicken masala ) and saute well. Add salt according to your taste. 



When the quail is half done, add black pepper powder to it and mix. Split green chilies, Sprinkle little water, now and then, until the chicken is completely cooked. 





Add the curry leaves and freshly crushed black pepper after removing the chicken from the fire. 


Now tasty Quail pepper gravy ready.
