Lemon candy

Ingredients:  3- lemons  2- cups white sugar  2- table spoon red chilly flakes  Water to boil  Method :  Make lemon into slices or wedges according to ur need .  Bring water and lemon slices to a boil in a small pan.  Drain water, and repeat with fresh cold water.  Repeat the boiling step three times.  Drain the lemon slices now add 2 cups sugar and 2 tablespoons of chili flakes ( if u don’t have flakes use powder ) Bring to a boil, stirring to dissolve the sugar.  Reduce heat to low and stir in simmer until it becomes translucent.  Store lemons in syrup, refrigerated, to keep them soft, for three to four days .  Now take half of lemon slices ( rest of the half u can use as such ) from the syrup and allow them to dry in a tray open for two or three day’s , ) not necessarily to be sun dried .  Toss dry candied lemon slice  in additional powdered sugar and store airtight at room temperature.
