Drumstick Soup
Ingredients:
Oil - 1 tsp
Cumin Powder - 1/2 tsp
Red Chilli Powder - 1/2 tsp
Garam Masala - 1/2 tsp
Garlic - 5 cloves (thinly sliced)
Ginger - 1 tbsp (grated)
Shallots - 4 (finely chopped)
Tomatoes - 1 large (finely chopped)
Drumstick Leaves - 2 cups packed
Drumstick - chopped (2 inch size | 1 cup)
Moong Dal - 1 tbsp
Water - 6 cups
Salt - to taste
Pepper Powder - to taste

Method:
- Heat oil in a sauce pan. Add in shallots, garlic, ginger and saute for a minute.
- Add tomatoes and cook till it turns mushy.
- Add chili powder and cumin powder.
- Add moong dal, drumstick leaves and chopped drumsticks; saute for 4 to 5 minutes.
- Pour water and cook for 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
- Serve hot!
