CREAM BUTTER BUN
Dough ingredients:
Flour-1 cup
Melted Butter - 2 tblspn
Sugar-2 tblspn
Warm Milk-3/4 cup or as required to knead the dough
Yeast-1 tsp
Salt as needed
For filling:
Butter-100 gm
Icing sugar-2 tblspn
Vanilla essence-1 tsp
Method:
Mix yeast,sugar with warm milk and set aside for 5 min.It will get foamy.
In a mixing bowl..Add flour,salt and mix well.
Pour in the yeast mixture and form a soft dough.Pour in the melted butter and knead for 5 min.Let it sit for 30 min or until it doubles in size.
Punch the air out of it and knead for 5 min.
Make small balls from it and arrange in a foil lined tray.
Let it rest for 30 more min or until doubles in size.
Give milk wash for each dough balls .
Preheat the oven to 200°C(400°F)
Place this tray in the oven and bake for 15-20 min or until the top gets golden.
Remove this from the oven and let it cool completely.
Meanwhile make the filling by beating butter,sugar,vanilla till fluffy.
When the buns are cooled cut it in the middle and put a dollop of filling in this..spread it evenly.Cover with the other half and serve...
