DRUMSTICK CURRY
INGREDIENTS:
3 drumsticks – washed, peeled, cut to abt 2-3 ” long and slit
1 1/2 cups fresh grated coconut
2-3 dry red chili
2 tblsp coriander seeds
1 tblsp jeera seeds
6 black pepper
1 big onion sliced
1 tblsp tamarind paste
1/2 tsp mustard seeds
1 sprig curry leaves
1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
salt to taste

METHOD:
Dry roast red chili , pepper corns , coriander seeds , jeera seeds and grated coconut .
Grind to a very fine paste along with tamarind juice and keep aside.
In a wide pan heat oil splutter mustard seeds and fry sliced onions add in the split drumsticks toss to cook , add the turmeric powder sprinkle little water and close the lid to cook .
Reduce flame to medium and cook till done.
Pour in ground paste and cook to semi thick consistency.
After the curry comes to boil add curry leaves.
Can be served hot with chapatis or rice!!!
NOTE:
U can alternate the same recipe with brinjal or ladies finger too.
