CHOCOLATE HIDDEN HEART CAKE



Ingredients for strawberry cake :

* 1 cup cake flour
* 2 large eggs, room temperature 
* 1/2 cups strawberry puree 
* 1 teaspoon strawberry essence 
* 2 to 3 drops of pink color 
* 3/4 granulated sugar
* 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
* Pinch of salt 
* 1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 tbsp milk

Method :

* Preheat oven to 160 degrees. 
* Grease and flour dust the pan. ( loaf pan )
* In a separate bowl, combine eggs, milk and oil ,add in all dry ingredients (cake flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt) for 30 seconds to combine. With your mixer on low to medium speed, Beat approximately 1 minute or until the dry ingredients form moist crumbs. Scrape the sides and bottom of the bowl, it is important to make sure there is no dry flour, and pour into prepared pans.




* Bake at 180 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let the cake cool in the pans 10 min, then turn out. 


* Slice the cake and use a heart shaped cookie cutter to get the cake in heart shapes... 





Ingredients for chocolate cake :

1.5  cups all-purpose flour
2 large eggs
1  cup sugar minus 1 tbsp sugar
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder 
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon coffee powder 
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 tsp vanilla extract

METHOD

Preheat oven at 170 degree 
Line a baking pan ( loaf pan) and grease keep aside . 

Sift and mix all dry ingredients.
whisk the wet ingredients and incorporate the wet ingredients slowly.... U can use a hand whisk for this recipe. Dont overwhisk, just do as much as u want to to combine everything.


When combined, put little of the mixture in the tin, arrange your heart’s in a row across the middle and pour the remaining of your mixture over the top.level the batter . 





Bake for 30 mins or till toothpick comes out clean.



White chocolate Glaze:

4 ounces sweet white chocolate
2 tablespoons fresh cream 
1 teaspoon butter 

Make the Glaze:

Melt the white chocolate with hot fresh cream and butter , Whisk until smooth and still slightly thick (not too runny). 



Pour the glaze over the cake. Give time to set . Slice the cake for serving and feel the surprise of Chocolate hidden heart cake ....
