EGGLESS CHOCO VANILLA CAKE
Choco vanilla cake
Ingredients for eggless vanilla cake:
* 1.5 cups all purpose flour/maida
* 2 tsp baking powder
* 1 tsp baking soda
* a pinch of salt
* ½ cup milk
* ½ cup oil
* 1 cup sugar ( then powder it )
* 4 tbsp yogurt
* 1 tsp vanilla extract
Method :
1. first sift the all purposed flour/maida with the baking powder, baking soda and a pinch of salt in a mixing bowl
2. preheat the oven to 180 degrees C for 10 min .
3. grease the pan with butter or oil and dust with flour , line the base with butter paper .
4. now in a small bowl, whisk the oil , yogurt and milk till
5. Add the powdered sugar and mix u till dissolve completely then add in the sieved flour.
6. add vanilla extract.
7. be quick enough to fold and make a lump free batter.
8. don't over do the folding.
9. pour the batter in the greased baking pan.
10. shake and tap the sides of the pan so that air bubbles are released.
11. place the pan in the preheated oven in the center rack.
12. bake at 180 degrees C for 30-35 minutes or more till a tooth pick inserted in the cake comes out clean.
13. once done let the cake stand at room temperature for 7-8 minutes, before removing from the pan .

Ingredients for chocolate butter cream frosting :
* 1 1/2 cup - unsalted butter
* 2 1/2 cups - icing sugar
* 1/2 cup- cocoa powder
* 1/8 - cup milk
* 1 tsp - vanilla extract
Method :
Cream butter for a few minutes in a mixer with the paddle attachment on medium speed. Turn off the mixer.
Add powdered sugar little at a time and mix slowly, and cocoa powder into the mixture .
Turn your mixer on the lowest speed (so the dry ingredients do not blow everywhere) until the sugar and cocoa are absorbed by the butter. Increase mixer speed to medium and add vanilla extract, salt, and milk and beat for 3 minutes.
If your frosting needs a more stiff consistency, add a little more sugar. If your frosting needs to be thinned out, add additional milk 1 tablespoon at a time.
Refrigerate the cake after crum coat for 1 hour.
Fill the frosting in piping bags and frost the cake
