PISTACHIO CARDAMOM CAKE
Pistachio Cardamom Cake
Ingredients for pistachio cake batter :
* Flour-1 cup
* Granulated sugar-1/2 cup
* Cardamon/elachi-10
* Pistachio-1\2 cup
* melted butter/oil-3/4 cup(i used canola oil)
* milk-3\4 to 1/2 cup
* Egg- 2
* baking powder-1 tsp
* baking soda-1\4 tsp
* Pistachio-few(for topping)
Method:
1.Sieve flour with baking soda and baking powder.Powder the sugar and keep aside .Powder the pistachio also.
2.Cream oil , egg with sugar well.
3.Slowly fold in the flour mix and mix well ,add milk to get the correct consistency.
4.Lastly add in the pistachio powder and cardamom powder gently mix. Keep the batter aside .
Ingredients for vanilla cake batter :
* Flour-1 cup
* Granulated sugar-1/2 cup
* Vanilla essence - 2 tsp
* melted butter/oil-3/4 cup(i used canola oil)
* milk-3\4 to 1/2 cup
* Egg- 2
* baking powder-1 tsp
* baking soda-1\4 tsp
1.Sieve flour with baking soda and baking powder.Powder the sugar and keep aside .
2.Cream oil , egg with sugar and vanilla essence .
3.Slowly fold in the flour mix and mix well ,add milk to get the correct consistency.
4.Keep the batter aside .
Pouring of batter in pan :
Grease the baking pan with oil and dust with flour take off the excess flour from the pan ,
Take two ladle of same size alternately pour both cake batter one by one in the same cake pan .
Top with some pista .
Bake it in a pre-heated oven for 30-35mins at 180 degC or till done.
Cool it well and demould.
