PAZHAM PORI / BANANA FRITTERS

Ingredients :

  • Big Bananas (ethaka/Nenthrapazham) – 2
  • All purpose flour(maida) – 2 cups
  • Sugar – 2 tsp
  • Salt - a pinch 
  • Water – as per requirement
  • Oil – for deep frying


Method:

Cut the banana horizontally into two halves and then slice the banana in thin strips (not very thin or very thick) in such a way that you can get thin strips. 


Meanwhile make a batter by mixing the maida, sugar and enough water to make a medium consistency batter.


Heat enough oil in a pan. Now dip the thin banana strips in this batter and the deep fry them in the oil.


Turn both sides and cook well .



Serve hot as a delicious snack in the evening with tea/coffee....
