BHINDI KURKURI

Ingredients:
  • 150 gms okra (chopped into diamond shape)
  • 2 tablespoons gram flour (besan)
  • 1 tablespoon rice flour 
  • Finely chopped - ginger , garlic and green chili 
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 3/4 tsp garam masala
  • 1/4 tsp amchur powder(dry mango powder)- optional 
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/4 tsp asafetida powder
  • Oil for deep frying

Method

Take chopped okra in to a bowl and add all the ingredients except oil. And mix well till all the okra are coated properly with the masala.







Now spread the slices in to hot oil one by one and fry till the okra becomes golden brown color from all sides.

Take them out on a paper towel and sprinkle few drops of lemon juice on top of it and serve.
