COCONUT BURFI
Ingredients:
- One cup Scraped Coconut
- 1/2 cup and little more Sugar
- Few almonds ( almonds )
- One tbs of Ghee
- One pinch of Cardamom Powder
- One tbs milk
Method :
- In a heavy bottom pan heat gee add scraped coconut and sugar together.(let the coconut be white).
- Let the sugar melt and becomes thick syrup.
- Add the cardamom powder.
- Keep stirring for few minutes in medium heat until the sugar crystalises and starts sticking to the sides.
- Pour it on a plate greased with gee ,smoothen with a flat surface on top and cut it into desired shapes when it is still warm. Place one almond on each slice ( optional ) .
- The yummy Indian sweet coconut burfi is ready.
