COCONUT BURFI

Ingredients: 

  • One cup Scraped Coconut
  • 1/2 cup and little more Sugar 
  • Few almonds ( almonds )
  • One tbs of Ghee
  • One pinch of Cardamom Powder
  • One tbs milk

Method : 

  • In a heavy bottom pan heat gee add scraped coconut and sugar together.(let the coconut be white).


  • Let the sugar melt and becomes thick syrup.


  • Add the cardamom powder.

  • Keep stirring for few minutes in medium heat until the sugar crystalises and starts  sticking to the sides.

  • Pour it on a plate greased with gee ,smoothen with a flat surface on top and  cut it into desired shapes when it is still warm. Place one almond on each slice ( optional ) . 





  • The yummy Indian sweet coconut burfi is ready.
