VEGGIES MASALA OATS



Masala oats is a nutritious recipe with an Indian twist, with oats and vegetables, spiced with garam masala and garnished with chopped coriander leaves.

Ingredients:

1/2 cup - quick cooking oats

1 /4 cup - vegetables , garlic and chopped green chillies 

1 - small-sized Onion (finely chopped) 


1/2 tsp - chicken masala powder or meat masala powder 

Oil to splutter 

mustard seeds 

Jeera seeds 


1 tsp - Coriander leaves chopped 


1 cup - water (adjust accordingly)

salt as required



METHOD : 

Heat oil in a sauce pan 
Splutter Mustard seeds and jeera seeds 
Along with chopped green chillies And chopped garlic 



Add in chopped onions 


Now add the chopped veggies of ur choice 


Now time to add in the flavours of ur choice - chicken masala powder or any meat masala powder or simply add a teaspoon of garam masala 


Pour water according to the texture u need


Add salt to taste 


After the water gets boiled add in the oats 


Close the lid and cook for 3 min 


Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot
