RAGI PEANUT PAKODA

Ingredients:
  1. Ragi flour     1 cup
  2. Rice flour    3 tbsp
  3. Drumstick Spinach    1cup (finely chopped- optional)
  4. Pea nuts - 3 tblspoon
  5. Onion    1 medium(thinly sliced)
  6. Ginger    2 tsp(finely chopped_
  7. Chilli powder    1 tsp
  8. Cumin seeds    1 tsp
  9. Hing    1/4 tsp
  10. Salt   to taste
  11. Oil    for deep frying
  12. Chopped curry leaves and coriander leaves.


Method

  • wash  the veggies and chop them finely and keep aside.
  • Take a mixing bowl,add the flour,salt n dry powders stir well and add spinach,cabbage,onion,ginger , peanuts and mix well.


  • Add a table spoon full of hot oil and start mixing . 

  • Using water ,make it to a thick dough.(if you want you can also add some cashew nuts too) 

  • Heat oil in a wok for frying, when it gets hot, drop small patches of dough in to the hot oil and fry till turn crisp.

  • Then remove from the oil and drain in a paper towel.

  • Serve the crispy ragi pakoda with a cup of hot tea/coffee.
