TOMATO BIRYANI

INGREDIENTS:

Rice - 1 cup
Onion-2(Sliced)
Tomato-3(Chopped)
Mint and corriander leaves-1cup(Chopped) optional 
Ginger Garlic paste-1tbs
Chilli powder-1 tblspn 
Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
Seasoning-Cinnamon,Cloves,Cardamom
Salt as needed
Oil/ gee



METHOD :

Pressure cooker method-

1. Wash the rice and sock it at least for 10 min.

2. Heat oil / gee in a pressure cooker and add cinnamon ,Clove, cardamom , aniseed and bay leaf .

3. Now add  onions and chopped tomatoes and cook until tomatoes are soft and tender.

4. Add ginger garlic paste and sauté till the raw flavor vanishes. 


5. Then add chili powder, turmeric powder , garam masala powder ,Finally add  curd, rice, water .

6. Add salt and pressure cook for 3 whistles.



7. Allow all the pressure to escape and then open the cooker, garnish with coriander and serve hot.
