Tadka Maa Di dal or Tadke wali Kaali dal
Ingredients :
Kashmiri Chilly Powder- 1Tblspn
Turmeric powder
Onions- 1 chopped
Tomato- 1 & 1/2 chopped
Whole garam masala
Garlic & Ginger paste- 1 tblsp
Butter/ oil / gee- 1Tablespoons
Whole Urad Dal- 100 grams
Green dal - 100 grams
Garam Masala Powder- 1Teaspoons
Coriander Chopped 1Bunch
Salt To Taste
METHOD:
Soak over night the urad dal and green dal.
Take whole urad dal & green dal with a pinch of turmeric and cook in a pressure cooker until daal is tender.
Heat butter/ oil/ gee in a pan add whole garam masala and onions, sauté it.
Add chopped tomatoes cook well add on ginger garlic paste after the raw smell goes add Kashmiri red
chilly powder, garam masala powder.
Addboiled daal, salt, once come to boil add chopped coriander and switch off the flame.
Serve this with chapatti, naan, jeera rice.
