MINT CHUTNEY


Ingredients:

Mint Leaves-2 cups
Onion-1 chopped
Garlic-1 fat clove
Cumin seeds -1 tsp
Urad dal - 1 tbl spoon
Tamarind-1 tsp
Salt to taste
Green chilli - 2
Oil-1 tblspn



Method:



Heat oil in a kadai and add in cumin seeds..Let it crackle..

Now add in garlic , green chilli and onions and mix well.



Add mint leaves stir for few minutes and allow it to wilt..

Add urad dal  and roast it .



Add tamarind,salt and mix well.



Let it cool down..Grind it in a blender till smooth.





Serve with idli or dosa..
