For seasoning:
Coconut oil - 3 tbsp

Method

Clean the fish in running water keep aside .

Mix red chilli powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder, salt , tamarind pulp in 3 glass of notmal water.

To this mixture add tomato, green chilli and curry leaves and allow to boil for 7 minutes.

Then add fish to the boiling curry and allow it to boil again for 10 minutes so that the curry thickens, the fish gets cooked and the gravy become dark red.

Then switch of the flame and season the curry with by adding curry leaves and coconut oil on top.

Or u can heat coconut oil in a tadka pan and splutter curry leaves and add to the fish curry .

If u keep the curry overnight and use on next day, the gravy will coat on the fish and will taste super tangy.

Serve with hot boiled rice.
