MINT RICE
Mint rice
Ingredients
For Grinding:
Mint Leaves / Pudhina – 1 cup
Coconut – ½ cup
Garlic – 5 cloves
Green Chilli – 2
Salt to taste
For Tempering:
Oil – 3 tblspn
Urad dal – 1 tblspn
Cashew – 10 piece
Cinnamon – 1 small stick
Cardamom – 4
Bay Leaf – 1
Method:
Grind all the ingrediants given in the list to a fine paste. Set this aside.
Heat oil in a pan. Add all the ingrediants given in the list in the given order and sauté for a min till they turn golden.
Add the ground masala and mix well. Add 1 inch size tamarind . Cook around 10 minutes. Mint Rice Mix is done. check for the salt.
Add in cooked rice and mix well. Saute for 2 mins.
Serve hot to taste best .
