VEGETABLE FRITTERS

Vegetable fritters 


Ingredients:

All-purpose flour or Maida-1 cup 
Rice flour - 2 tbl spoon
Thinly Sliced cabbages - 1/2 cup
Thinly sliced carrot - 1/2 cup
Thinly sliced Onion-1 big
2 green chillies chopped finely 
Yogurt or buttermilk- 1 tbl spoon 
Coriander leaves -chopped
Chopped ginger-1/2 tbsp
Curry leaves-chopped
Salt to taste
Oil for deep frying



Method :

Take maida and rice flour in a bowl add chopped onions, sliced cabbages, sliced carrot, green chillies,coriander leaves , curry leaves  curd or yogurt, salt mix well with a consistency of thick sticky batter, it should not be liquid consistency.



Adding food colour is optional.

Heat the oil in pan,oil should be very hot.

Now reduce the flame to medium.

Drop batter with spoon into hot oil.

Fry till they turn brown and remove.

Serve with coconut chutney or tomato ketchup .
