CINNAMON ROLLS



INGERDIENTS:

All Purpose Flour / Maida - 2 cups
 
Sugar - 5 tblspn
 
Egg - 1 whole + 1egg white 
 
Yeast - 1 tsp
 
Warm Milk - 3/4 cup 

Extra milk if needed for making dough
 
Melted Butter - 4 tblspn 
 

FOR THE OUTER ROLLS:
 
Butter - 2 tblspn (soft at room temp)
 
Cinnamon powder - 2 tblspn
 
Sugar - 1/4 cup
 
Grated coconut - 2 tblspn

 
FOR ICING:

Powdered Sugar - 1/2 cup
 
Milk - 2 tblspn




 

METHOD:

Take egg, milk, sugar in a bowl and whisk well. 

Now add in  melted butter, yeast and mix well. Let this for 5 mins to raise.

Now add in flour and form into a dough. 

Cover this with a moist towel and let it sit for an hour it will become double in size.

Now Mix the cinnamon powder, coconut and sugar and keep aside.

After the dough risen for double. Roll it out into a long rectangle. Spread some soft butter over it. 

Sprinkle it with cinnamon, coconut and sugar mix. Roll it into a thick log. Now cut them into equal slices.



Arrange it in a buttered baking tray. Cover again and let it rise for an hour.

For a shiny glaze brush with egg white.




Preheat the oven to 180 Degree C / 360 Degree F.

Once it is risen, bake it for 30- 35 mins in same temp.

Remove from oven.



MAKING THE ICING:

Take powdered sugar and milk in a bowl and mix well so it forms into a smooth icing.

Pour all over the rolls.

Set for 5-10 mins and serve.
