STRAWBERRY CHERRY CAKE


INGREDIENTS

Maida flour - 1 cup
Powdered sugar -1/2 cup
Oil/butter -1/2 cup
Egg-2 , white of 1 egg
Baking powder- 1 tsp
Salt a pinch ( if the butter is salted avoid extra salt)
Strawberry drink concentrate - 1 tsp
Strawberry pure - 1/2 cup
Chopped cherries - 1 table spoon



METHOD:

- mix the backing powder and salt with flour

- shift the flour 3 times

- pre heat the oven in 180 degree for 10 min

- grease the baking tray with oil and dust with flour and knock down the excess flour



- beat the 2 full eggs till fluffy

- add oil or butter and beat well 

- add the powdered sugar continue beating

- add the strawberry drink liquid (this is just to give the color and essence for this cake)

- now slowly add the flour and turn the batter 

- mix gently 

- finally beat the white of 1 egg till peak add it with the strawberry pure 

- pour this into the batter and fold well



- pour the batter into the greased baking pan

- place chopped cherries on top and slightly press it into the batter 



- tap the cake pan to release the air



- into the pre heated oven bake the cake in 170 degree for 30-35 min 



- cut in slices and serve the cake
